Homeschool families are invited to go Indepth with Ink & Fiber at Handcrafted, a workshop full of antique machines. Experience the past by creating objects by hand. In the Ink Zone, make paper, ink and try out a dip pen. Try the letterpress and typewriters. Head home with your own handcrafted booklet. In the Fiber Zone, spin thread and use it in your own weaving. Sew a sachet on a treadle sewing machine and try out a sock knitting machine. Designed for students 8 years and older who are comfortable with scissors and possess some fine motor skills. $10 per student; limit 16 students.
