The Florida State Fair would not be possible without the hard work of its volunteers. The fair is much more than bright lights, midway rides, and fun food. It is a 12-day, statewide tradition that draws a crowd of approximately 500,000 people each year. The fair depends on the can-do, eager attitude of our volunteers to make amazing experiences year after year. We are currently seeking energetic and enthusiastic volunteers who are sixteen or older.
The upcoming Florida State Fair is scheduled for February 9th through 20th, 2023. During the Fair, Youth Volunteers will be assigned to a specially designed project within the Creative Living exhibit. Volunteer shifts begin in January during Fair set-up and go through the last week in February (Fair break-down). Youth volunteers are required to attend a training in January as well as an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator prior to the January training. If interested, please contact Dianne Stahl, Volunteer Coordinator at dianne.stahl@floridastatefair.com.
