Florida Singing Sons is an elite choir (ages six to eighteen) serving students in South Florida for forty-four years. We here at FSS are excited to be presenting a series of FREE virtual music workshops for all students this summer! We wanted to continue and expand our music education through the summer, especially during this time when so many families are stuck at home. We are offering daily workshops during two, week-long sessions (June 22-26, and July 20-24) that include a Beginners Music class, featuring games and interactive activities to teach beginning musicians some basics of music theory and music reading; a Music Production class which the students will use music technology to learn how to mix their own compositions; and a Repertoire Class (aimed at older students) where they will have the opportunity to present a song and get feedback and work with me, personally. We hope our offerings will appeal to a wide range of students and we can’t wait to get started.

Registration is open for new students into the choir that will resume rehearsals and performances (whether they be in person of virtual, TBD, depending on COVID restrictions) in August and September of 2020. We welcome all, and have many scholarship opportunities for regular, season-long involvement.
