This is an Academic, Classical Christian homeschool community/support group for 8th (and 8th-ish but a little older, too) grade kids. It is part of a nationwide program, called Classical Conversations, that has programs for kids age 4 and up. The CC Watertown community has programs for kids age 4 to 7th grade as well as this specific program. They would also be willing to open classes for high school age kids if they get kids of that age.
The group meets with the tutor once a week, for 30 weeks, beginning in September, under her guidance (you can contact her from the website provided). They have seminars in Writing, Latin, Math, Science, Logic, Current events (in the first semester), and Mock Trial (in the second semester) following a Curriculum. Classical Conversations provides visionary, skeletal curriculum guides and syllabi, allowing parents to continue to direct and own the details that best suit their personal priorities and student dynamics.
