The time has come to enter the Arizona Student Film Festival! Started in 2007, the Arizona Student Film Festival is a yearly film festival and competition that celebrates the next generation of Arizona Filmmakers. Grade school and high school students from all over the state of Arizona are invited to submit their best short films under 8 minutes in length. Films are reviewed and selected by Phoenix Film Festival programmers. Films selected for the AZSFF are screened during the Phoenix Film Festival, and student filmmakers will receive Phoenix Film Festival Filmmaker Passes for the full festival experience!
The winner of the top prize will receive a $1,000 scholarship to the school of his or her choice! Films must have been made in 2022 (calendar year NOT school year). As long as you were a student in an Arizona school when you made the film, you can submit!
Arizona Student Film Festival proudly accepts entries on FilmFreeway, the world's #1 way to enter film festivals and creative contests. The submission fee is only $10 and submissions must be completed by January 16th, 2024. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at azsff@phxfilm.com or check out the Arizona Student Film Festival website: www.azstudentfilmfestival.org
