The Adventure Academy is a drop-off, academic enrichment program for 1st-4th designed to cover every subject but math and grammar in one day a week. The class meets every Thursday from 9:00-3:00. Every week, children cover science, history, literature, arts-n-crafts, penmanship, and Bible all centered around a theme of the week. Additionally, children participate weekly in “circle time,” P.E./group games that facilitate teamwork, and activities that cultivate presentation skills such as show-n-tell. The Adventure Academy covers all the “fun stuff,” giving parents a day to focus on other things, knowing they’re not sacrificing a day of school.
