Resource Description
The Complete Home Learning Source Book is, in the words of the publisher, "an exhaustive and comprehensive sourcebook provides parents and teachers with information on all the resources needed to plan a well-balanced curriculum for the home or the classroom, from preschool through high school. The Complete Home Learning Sourcebook not only covers basic academic subjects--the three R's--but also addresses interests that are off the beaten path of public school curricula, such as paleontology and meteorology."

This is a fantastic resource book! I agree completely with the first reviewer on everything except the fun factor, but, that's probably because I really enjoy reading about all of the resources available. For me, that is fun.
I too wish this was available for online search, both to make it faster & easier to access and so it could be updated more regularly. Also, at least at my house, I tend to look at the walls of books and think, "Do I REALLY want to add ANOTHER book?" Making this available online would be a great help with that dilema.
Cons: A book this thorough is great but I feel an online version would be more valuable as new resources and books are constantly coming up
I didn't give this a "fun factor" as it is more of a source book and not a full curriculum. As a source book though it is wonderful. It is one of those books that I find myself coming back to time and time again when I feel the need for "something more". Sometimes I just need a push in the right direction or to find that one perfect book for any given subject and Rudd's collection never disappoints. She covers everything from Arithmetic to Zoology!
