The April writing prompts calendar focuses on food - lots and lots of fun food. Since April is also National Poetry Month, you may want to have your student answer some of the prompts in the form of poetry. Each month we are offering writing prompts (you will be able to find them all on the main Homeschool Writing Prompts page), and you can access our April-themed prompts below.
Ideas for use:
- Print as many as you need so each child can have a copy for their notebooks
- Hang a copy on the wall
- Laminate a copy for reuse each year (you can mark the prompts with dry erase marker as you use them)
- Use in order or let kids skip around
Our printable calendars feature white backgrounds and go light on color decorations to help you save ink.
