Home Educators Association of Virginia is a member-supported, statewide, nonprofit homeschool association that operates from a biblical worldview. HEAV serves all homeschoolers and since 1983 has worked tirelessly to promote and protect homeschool interests in Virginia through information, legislation, and resources.

VaHomeschoolers
The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers - The Old Dominion's only fully inclusive, member directed, and volunteer driven state association. VaHomeschoolers is neutral in matters of religion and partisan politics. Helping homeschoolers is our only agenda.

Albemarle County Homeschoolers Network
Open to all homeschoolers (and those considering homeschooling) in Albemarle County, Va, and the surrounding area. This list allows members to invite people to join them for park days and craft times, list local community activities, form co-operative learning groups, and announce seminars or other information important to homeschoolers. My hope is to make it easier for new homeschoolers (or those new to the area) to make friends, form playgroups or study groups, and have questions about homeschooling in Va answered.

Homeschool Resources Group
Homeschool Resources Group is a Richmond, Va based group which provides learning and social resources, activities and field trips for children who are home-schooled, no matter which method of instruction is being used at home. We currently have a field trip coming up in October that we are hoping to make a frequent trip. We will be attending a learning session at J. Craig Venter, which is a genomics lab in Maryland. We will depart from Richmond by bus at 6 am, head to Maryland for the session, then visit the Natural History Museum at the Smithsonian, before returning to Richmond.
