Bellevue/Offutt Homeschool Group
Bellevue/Offutt Homeschool Group is open to all homeschooling families in the Bellevue, Nebraska and surrounding areas. Through this message board you can find out what's going on around the Omaha Metro, as well as learn information about field trips, co-op, our lending library, parent nights out, and our monthly meetings. This is a hands-on group where members are highly encouraged to plan events for the group, share information, and use their gifts and talents for the benefit of the group.

HOPE has been formed to support and encourage all homeschoolers in Council Bluffs and surrounding areas, regardless of the reasons for homeschooling, philosophy, or methods of instruction. This is done through support meetings, a monthly newsletter and a variety of activities.

Omaha Homeschool Meetup Group meets in and around the Omaha area. Join us for field trips, park days, family events, and other great activities for children and parents. Come and share your Homeschooling education ideas and experiences with others. Our group and activities are not focused on religious beliefs, and we welcome people of all interests to meet other local families taking responsibility for educating their children by using resources in the home and community.

Omaha Parents Educating Gifted Students
PEGS Mission Statement: We are a group of parents with gifted children who are actively involved in their child's education, either through homeschooling, partial homeschooling, or supplemental schooling. We meet monthly to help expand educational horizons and options by sharing resources. Our focus is on creating an accepting environment for gifted children and their parents to meet their social and emotional needs. We also share resources on topics like the homeschooling; social, emotional, and academic needs of the gifted; twice exceptional needs (gifted and learning disabled); and common characteristics like sensitivity, intensity, and overexcitability. PEGS Meetings: Parents and their children meet together approximately once a month at a member's home.

Our secular homeschooling families share the workload of making our group an awesome experience for everyone. We have regular field trips for all age ranges, regular "moms only" events, a very active online discussion board & much more! Our message forum includes a public discussion area for everyone, where discussions about the logistics of homeschooling in Nebraska as well as area homeschool resources are available for anyone to participate in.
