Maryland Association of Christian Home Educators (MACHE)
MACHE exists to support the Christian home schooling families and support group leaders in the state of Maryland. We provide a quarterly newsletter to member families and groups, offer a discount for membership in the Home School Legal Defense Association , and we host an annual curriculum fair, symposiums, workshops, and other events.


Maryland Home Education Association (MHEA)
MHEA was founded in 1980 to serve and support families of all religious, philosophical and ethnic persuasions. For over seventeen years MHEA has been working for all homeschoolers -- members and non-members alike. For a modest $15 fee which has not increased since 1984, members receive much more for their money than a modest newsletter. There are numerous hidden services that are vital to the interests to all families:

North County Home Educators (NCHE)
A support group for families in Maryland who have an interest in home education. Most of our meetings are in the northern part of Anne Arundel County, but membership is open to everyone. We invite everyone to participate in our activities and ask only that you consider organizing an event or helping with one. The success of our organization depends on the active participation and contribution of all our members.

Arundel Homeschool Support Group
AHSG is a local Christian homeschool support group. Our primary mission is to foster an environment in which our member families can effectively network with one another to share ideas and to enjoy fellowship. We also sponsor several events during the year for the benefit of our members and the local homeschooling community.

Christian Homeschoolers of Calvert County, CHOCC, is an information network and support group for home educators based in Calvert County, Maryland. The purpose of the group is to help local Christian homeschoolers effectively connect with one another in order to offer support, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement as we seek to educate and raise our children to follow the Lord. Any member may send homeschool-related e-mails and organize field trips or other activities.

Educating Our Own
Welcome to the Educating Our Own (EOO) homeschool support group! We are an inclusive homeschool group that serves families in Carroll County, Maryland. Our mission is to provide group activities throughout the year, to arrange field trips, to foster childrens friendships, and to provide parent support. EOO is a cooperative effort. Activities, field trips, clubs, and classes are planned and carried out by individual members and vary as needed. This homeschooling support group is the result of what our current members are willing to contribute. All members are encouraged to setup and/or participate in activities that they feel meets their individual family needs.

Maryland UFC
A support group for unschoolers, the Unschooling Family Connection was founded in order to to provide support for unschooling parents; and activities, socialization, and fun for the children. We have field trips, park days, celebrations, and online support. Our group is non-discriminatory on the basis of race, religion, ethnic background, political or sexual orientation. We have formed for the sole purpose of establishing contact with other families in our local area who have chosen this natural way of learning.

The Montgomery Home Learning Network (MHLN.info) is an inclusive group of homeschooling families in and around Montgomery County, MD.
