Homeschoolers of Maine (HOME)
HOME was established in 1990 as a ministry to support Maine families in their God-given and constitutional right and responsibility to oversee the education of their children. Success is our hope and desire for every family that chooses to homeschool. Our ministry supports the family by monitoring legislation, holding an annual convention, providing workshops throughout the year, publishing our newsletter The Heart of HOME, providing free counseling to new and established homeschoolers, and much more.

Homeschool Support For Parents In Maine
Homeschooling and support go hand and hand. Without the support of at least one other person, homeschoolers often find that they are questioning themselves and the way that they have decided to school their children. When you think about it, is it really that hard to believe that it only takes one other person to remind you that your children will be okay, and that you are doing a great job?! I owe a great deal of my confidence to my support system that I have surrounded myself with. I am grateful to them. This group is intended to help you gain the confidence that you want and need, this group is also intended to make each other aware of upcoming activities. So post away! Ask questions, give comments, lend a hand, give praise, and remember that there just might be someone reading your post that needs that one person to offer support in their life today!
