Christian Homeschool support group which serves as an educational resource center for home educators. Hosts classes in the study of Environmental Science through Creation, Sciences, English Lit, Math, Writing/Journalism, and educational fieldtrips. Open house is held twice a year for families living in Baldwin County. Additional classes include: Drivers Ed, Sports, ACT, SAT, Honor Clubs, Scholarship Opportunities, Dual Enrollment Opportunities, and Formal Events along with a graduation program every year.

Central Alabama Independent Homeschools
CAIH is open to anyone homeschooling, or interested in homeschooling. As the name implies, this group is primarily for those of us who have chosen to homeschool under an independent umbrella, without the use of a cover school. The goal of CAIH is for parents to use this group as a tool to meet other parents in similar circumstances to discuss issues, curriculum, challenges etc. Parents use CAIH to plan occasional get-togethers and fieldtrips for the kids.

LOMAG consists of families that are educating children at home and support each other in that goal. Members have different church-school coverings but live in a tri-county area of North East Alabama on Look Out Mountain.

HHEAT was founded in June 2005 out of a need for an open and welcoming group for any and all homeschooling families in the Huntsville area to meet and discuss regardless of ethnicity, faith, lifestyle or home-schooling style. The primary focus of the group is to provide social opportunities for teens and their families. The on-line goal is to have an open forum to discuss any subject pertinent to home-schooling with tolerance, dignity and respect. The off-line goal is to be able to gather and meet the social needs of our children through fieldtrips, activities, parties, and seasonal gatherings .

Currently, the group offers a Mom's Night once a month for both the North Alabama area as well as Southern Middle Tennessee, holiday parties, field trips, and any other activity proposed and planned by any of our members. All ideas are welcomed and all members are encouraged to plan as well as participate.

COMPASS Christian Home Educators of NE Alabama
COMPASS is a support group for home educators in NE Alabama. Open to all families, regardless of cover school affiliation. The COMPASS support group seeks to provide children with more opportunities to form friendships with other homeschooling children. In addition, COMPASS provides parents with an avenue for networking and forming support systems with other homeschoolers through our quarterly newsletter, online support group, co-op classes, field trips, park days, skate days, homeschool clubs, sports programs, member directory, and other annual events such as our kick-off and curriculum fair.
