Exploring Writing Online Workshops

Visual Manna - The Young Lions
What are the Young Lions? They are a group of elite Christian young people gifted in art and/or writing who are using their talent to take back the visual world for Jesus. This internet course is offered for twelve weeks starting in January 2010. We will be putting a portfolio together. We will not only teach fine art techniques and skills, but will also show students how to use the computer and give them software that will enable them to do things graphically and artistically on the internet. These students goal is to be the best of the best in visual communication. They can use their talent and creativity in their church or ministry.

Homeschool Online Creative Writing Co-op for Teens
The Online Writing Co-op is an eight week course for homeschool students in grades 9 -12. It is designed to stretch skills and imaginations to help students write and think more creatively. It provides interaction with peers from all over the United States and personalized feedback and guidance from the instructor. This co-op is designed to develop and reinforce good writing skills. Homeschooling Extraordinary Kids
Thinking Outside the Box with "specialized" items for your child or resources for Gifted, LD or Gifted-LD kids. This is a positive, forward-looking international forum with members from around the globe.


Chinese Homeschoolers
This list is to support those who are Chinese homeschoolers. Members may live in various parts of the world. They may live in areas supportive of homeschooling or they may live in areas where they are persecuted. They may have supportive families and relatives or they may have families that do not agree with their decision to homeschool. Lehigh Valley Homeschool Group
LVHG is a group of families living in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area who are currently homeschooling preschool to elementary aged children. Christian Home Educators of Clark County (CHECC)
We are a group of homeschooling families located in Clark County, Ohio. CHECC families homeschool children from preschool through graduation. Our children participate in Interest Group Classes (I.G. Classes) and field trips together. They benefit from group activities, \"school\" pictures, and a graduation ceremony for seniors. CHECC members enjoy discounted membership to HSLDA, a source of vital legal protection for homeschoolers! CHECC parents find fellowship and support from other members who share similar homeschooling experiences and challenges. Helping Other Parents Educate (H.O.P.E.)
HOPE is an OCHEC (Oklahoma Christian Home Education Consociation) affiliated support group. It exists to challenge, encourage, and exhort families toward training their children in righteousness through home education. Offers support through the sharing of ideas, resources, and materials among members. Offers field trips, PE, seasonal parties, and the opportunity for service for children. Service projects are appropriate for very young children through highschool age. Monthly meetings take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 10:30am-Noon at the Putnam City United Methodist Church. Book Club for 4th-7th graders meets at 10am before each meeting. H.O.P.E. also offers weekly PE classes for Pre K through 12th grades.


Can I Homeschool My Kids
