Homeschooling is regulated at the state level and changes may be made to the relevant statutes at any time. The Love to Learn - Homeschool Resource and Information Conference
August 14, 2010
This conference is organized each year to fill the need for up to date, accurate, unbiased, information concerning issues that affect the climate of homeschooling in North and South Carolina. The 2010 conference will be held at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, at their Elizabeth Avenue campus. Charlotte has the advantage of being centrally located to a very large population of homeschoolers in both NC and SC.

Art classes for youth ages 5-12 at the Angier Parks & Recreation building. Art classes provide students with the opportunity to explore and learn through paint, mixed-medium, oil pastel, watercolor and much more! Art is a great way to help your child develop self-esteem and strong problem-solving skills. It allows children to express their individuality, while learning about famous artists and different art techniques. The art instructor, Tammy McLean, is a certified art and regular classroom teacher with the North Carolina Public School System. She holds degrees in Commercial and Graphic Art, Art Education, and Elementary Education.
