Homeschool hiking/biking annual event
May 23, 2010 - May 29, 2010
The homeschool hiking/biking annual event began in May 2005 as a way to gain recognition for homeschooling as well as getting some exercise, group involvement, and introducing homeschoolers and their families to hiking and biking in the great outdoors!! It is an annual event now and will be held each year the last full week in May all across the United States. We are asking for individuals and groups involved in homeschooling to set up events in their areas. Inland Northwest Christian Homeschoolers
INCH is a non-profit co-op and support group serving homeschoolers in Coeur d'Alene and surrounding areas. INCH is not a drop-off program or a school, but a co-op run solely by volunteer moms. We offer homeschool students from preschool through high school an assortment of academic and enrichment classes and social activities to supplement their homeschooling experience, as well as classes and workshops to encourage and support homeschooling moms.

Clearwater Historical Museum invites folks to come see our collections that focus on the people and history of Clearwater River Country and its environs including Clearwater County and parts of Lewis, Nez Perce, Idaho and Shoshone counties. Our goal is to share the Clearwater River drainage rich legacy that started long before history was recorded. Our museum features artifacts relating to the Nez Perce People, the Lewis and Clark Expedition, gold mining, early homesteading, farming, logging and much more.

Since the passage of our current law in 1992, parents in Idaho have enjoyed the freedom to home educate without restriction. The purpose of the Idaho Coalition of Home Educators is to protect that freedom for future generations.
