Homeschool hiking/biking annual event
May 23, 2010 - May 29, 2010
The homeschool hiking/biking annual event began in May 2005 as a way to gain recognition for homeschooling as well as getting some exercise, group involvement, and introducing homeschoolers and their families to hiking and biking in the great outdoors!! It is an annual event now and will be held each year the last full week in May all across the United States. We are asking for individuals and groups involved in homeschooling to set up events in their areas. Formerly known as the Savannah Secular Homeschool group (yahoo group), the Savannah Unlimited Homeschool Network (SUHN) is an inclusive secular Co-Op serving those in Chatham County, Georgia and the surrounding area. Co-Op classes are once a month. The group also offers, field trips and social activities for children and parents as well as extra-curricular clubs. This group meets for classes at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Troup Square in downtown Savannah every third Friday of the month with field trips and activites between monthly classes.

We are looking for a mother's helper (I will be home at all times) to help us out every Wed and Fri from 1pm-4pm. I'd love someone age 11 or older. Duties will include reading to and playing with my 3 year old (he is mildly autistic) while the other two nap plus a few light chores. We will be paying $6 an hour.
