Chesterfield Arts, located near the Chesterfield Mall, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the growth of the visual, performing, and literary arts within the West County Region. To cultivate enthusiasm in a variety of mediums, Chesterfield Arts presents a diverse mix of performing arts programs, exhibits high-quality artwork by professional artists, and hosts educational classes for all ages, with special courses for homeschool students.

Beginning Piano Lessons

Classical Conversations
CC is a national homeschooling program that uses a Bible based curriculum taught in a christian, classical tradition. Classes are geared for age 4 through high school.

Woodworking Course
The Kansas City Woodworkers’ Guild is making available a course in practical woodworking for the home schooled student age 14 years and above. The 13 week course (three hours, one day a week) focuses on necessary skills, tools, and techniques to introduce the craft of woodworking and furniture making. The course successfully meets the needs of multiple experience levels in a safe, well equipped, spacious, supportive, and congenial educational environment. Students will take pride in their accomplishments and gain self esteem. The classes will be taught by a Certified Industrial Technology Teacher, with 20 years of public school teaching experience. The class emphasis will always be on SAFETY!


Kansas City/Overland Park
Christian Youth Theater - Kansas City
Christian Youth Theater (CYT) is an after-school theater arts training program for students ages 4 - 18. CYT is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization funded primarily through its tuition, ticket sales and outside contributions. Every session (fall, winter and spring) CYT offers theater arts classes for children as an after-school activity. Each local program conducts three ten-week sessions throughout the school year, teaching drama, voice, dance and a broad spectrum of specialty theatrical workshops at weekly two-hour classes. Enrolled students have the opportunity to work behind the scenes, or audition and perform on stage in a Broadway-style musical performed for the community.

Good Shepherd Pottery offers clay education for children, teens and adults. The spacious studio has 6 pottery wheels and all the equipment needed to create to your heart's content. The studio is located on a beautiful farm that raises sheep and cows.

andFlew! Movement Studio is launching a new Daytime DANCE program for students ages 8 – 16. All experience levels are invited to our new cooperative, community-focused Children’s Program. Welcome to Champion Martial Arts. Whether you're a child or adult, we have a program designed to meet your needs. We offer martial arts classes for children (ages 4-12) which stress character development and positive reinforcement while teaching functional self-defense skills. We offer self-defense classes for adults (13-over) as well which focus on situational self-defense (both standing as well as on the ground); we cover all ranges of defense.
