Community Music School
Homeschool families can choose from convenient group piano and voice class offerings at CMS on Monday mornings, with strings offered early Wednesday afternoon. The cost per student is $95 per 8-week class. Each family will be charged a $15 registration fee per CMS semester (fall and spring).

Summit Music Studios
Summit Music Studio offers instruction in guitar, music theory, songwriting, and instrumental composition. Students learn in a fun stress free environment from a conservatory trained composer/musician. All levels of student from beginner to advanced are welcome. Footelights Theater Company presents
Workshops and classes focused on learning Shakespeare which lead to a full stage production of a Shakespeare play at the end of the session.

Sports Opportunities for Connecticut Homeschoolers

South Windsor
South Windsor Recreation - Homeschool Physical Education classes
This 6 week active class is a great way to learn about physical education and fitness . Join other homeschoolers while having fun with sports, games and much more. Sessions run fall through spring.

Stratford
Stratford Recreation Home School Open Gym
Open Gym Home School - An open gym environment for home schooled children and their families. Families can participate in a variety of sports and exercise time. The class offers both physical fitness and social time. Children and their families can play basketball, soccer, volleyball, football or use the gym to exercise. The 8-week program is from 1-2pm at the Birdseye Complex on Thursdays. Session I is January 27 – March 24 with registration January 3-January 21. Session II is April 7 – June 2 with registration March 1-April 1. Fee is $45 per session. Class limit is 15 families. A Recreation Department staff will be the facilitator.
