Homeschoolers of all faiths/beliefs/theories that want to have fun and give their kids high quality tutor taught classes in natural and physical sciences, foreign languages, music, art, drama, sign language, and more! Presbyterian Church of the Apostles 701 E. 130th St. Burnsville MN Secular group for Preschool - 8th graders. We offer tutor-taught classes in Science, Spanish, Art, and Drama. Meets weekly Sept. through May.

Wargo Nature Center offers monthly homeschool classes for a variety of ages. Professional naturalists provide quality environmental, recreational and natural history programming that focuses on hands-on experiential learning. Third Thursday of each month at 10:00 - 12:00 or 2:00 - 4:00. The cost is $4/child. Pre-registration is required.

Wood Lake Nature Center
Wood Lake Nature Center offers monthly hands on classes focused on science, natural history, and cultural history designed specifically for homeschoolers. Classes are offered September through May and are on a five year rotation. Topics include wild edibles, how to make paper, and digging up fossils as well as many others. Individual families can attend Friday programs, typically held the 3rd Friday of each month. Homeschool associations and other groups can schedule a time convenient for them when a naturalist is available. Cost is $4 a child, $40 dollar minimum for groups. Nurturing Life is an educational resource center that provides scientific information regarding how plants and plant oils were designed to address health challenges and issues in the whole person. Events, classes, and workshops are offered to demonstrate how to use plant oils for safe effective first aid.

Write/Right Tutoring
Write/Right Tutoring is a private tutoring service for preschool through elementary school age children struggling with pre-writing, printing and cursive handwriting. Patricia Nyberg MS., OTR/L owner of Write/Right tutoring is a pediatric occupational therapist who is a Handwriting Without Tears (HWT) certified specialist. Patricia provides individual and group customized instruction utilizing HWT curriculum, materials and HWT printing evaluation tool, the "Print Tool". In addition her instruction emphasizes postural control, hand strengthening and mature pencil grip. Patricia works closely with parents to implement home activities. Lessons are offered before school, after school, evenings and some weekends.
