Friendship Village of Columbus - volunteer opportunities
The Administrator-in-Training at Friendship Village of Columbus,.a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community, is currently looking for volunteers to help out in the activities department. (Elderly people often get lonely and depressed when they come to a nursing home. The more people that you have to do one-on-one individual activities, the more people you have to do group activities or other activities to improve our aging population's quality of life.)

A Jump Rope team of youth starting at age 9. Our formal program supports exercise and fundamental value of a strong work ethic, teamwork and good sportsmanship. South Dayton Christian Home Educators
South Dayton Christian Home Educators is a support group for home educating families with school age children. Our purpose is to uplift and encourage each other in this great adventure of home educating our children, facilitate networking among home educating families, and provide a social outlet for parents and their children. We hold meetings on the 2nd Sunday of each month for home educating mothers. Our meetings are informal, roundtable-type discussions of topics and sharing of ideas and support. Monthly field trip opportunities and park days are also available for the entire family.



Waves of Mercy: Co-op Classes
We meet weekly on Thursdays. Weeks 1-3 are class days (music, art, gym,and more) 4th week is a field trip. Mom's meetings, fellowship and support
