GRACE Homeschool Co-op is an art-based co-op that meets at Kensington Church in Troy, MI.


Christian Business Academy
Offering Business, Stock Market, and Entrepreneurship workshops to home school students on a national basis. Classes are designed in two and five day seminar/workshops which can be presented to home school students in your area. Summer programs are available. Our purpose is to support, assist and encourage families that are involved in home-schooling their children. Our current activities include producing a major book fair every March, sponsoring Boy Scout and Cub Scout units and providing the NOT Back to School Picnic every September.

Allegan Area Homeschoolers
We are a very informal, loosely organized group. Our main purpose is to support and share information with anyone who homeschools or is interested in homeschooling. We have had a yearly fair/talent show, a track and field day, Scholastic book orders, game days, field trips and other activities as desired and/or organized by members. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month, September through May, 7:00 pm, in the basement of Blessed Sacrament Church on the corner of M-89 and Hubbard Street in Allegan (elevator available).

Ann Arbor Unschooling Network
We are a non-religious local support group for unschooling and homeschooling families in the greater Ann Arbor area. The general philosophy is John Holt inspired. This means, among other things, a more relaxed, less structured approach to learning. We offer information, activities, and opportunities to socialize and get to know each other. Please note that this is a real life group that communicates via this YahooGroup. We are not simply an on-line forum, and want all of our members to participate in gatherings as well as on this list. But new members are always welcome!

Reach Homeschool Group
An inclusive home school support group. By inclusive we mean that we are open to anyone who home schools for any reason. Though we have very diverse beliefs and reasons for home schooling, we have the common bond of being home schooling families. There are many different ways to home school within the home schooling community. These range from structured use of curriculum to no curriculum at all with many variations in between. At REACH, we strive to accept and support each family's journey in whichever home schooling techniques they choose.

Located in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula, DCHSE exists to support and encourage those who are home educating and to act as a source of information to those considering educating their children at home.

Kids Out Reach Team
K.O.R.T. is designed for homeschooled kids of all ages, in and around the metro Detroit area to find volunteer opportunities. Reaching out to others is all too often left out of childrens lives due to hectic schedules and lack of resources. We hope to make K.O.R.T. a wonderful source of information and opportunities for the kids. If you want to include volunteering in your childs life and education, I welcome you to join. Records will be kept to keep track of all your childs work. Volunteering looks great on college applications. It will take the combined effort of all members to run this group effectively. I hope you'll feel free to post about any volunteer opportunities you hear of :o) A weekly updated on-line newsletter will be sent to all members.

e are an eclectic group of families in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area who meet on a regular basis to offer support and comraderie in our homeschool journeys. We are a non-religious, tolerant and fun group who enjoy exploring new horizons in our children's (and our own) education. Kalamazoo Homeschool Connection exists mainly for the opportunity to share ideas and support in a relaxed setting while the children play nearby (or under our feet!). There are occasional field trip activities going on as someone feels inspired to put something together. We are an open group to whomever desires to genuinely share and learn.

A secular support group for unschoolers and eclectic homeschoolers in and around Livingston County, Michigan. This non-religious group meets for volunteer activities, field trips and other gatherings as arranged by its members. Most of our activities occur in the Howell area. West Michigan Eclectic Homeschoolers
An online discussion group for homeschooling families in west Michigan who do not consider themselves mainstream homeschoolers. We exist to celebrate the diversity of home education styles and choices. This is an inclusive group with no religious, political, or philosophical orientation. Members are asked to follow rules of civility, kindness, and compassion and are encouraged to take with them the information they find useful for their family and to leave the rest behind. As this new group grows and friendships blossom, we would like to add park dates and other fun activities for eclectic homeschooling families in the area.

This group is where we can come & find support, ask questions and even plan field trips, for those of us in St. Clair County, Michigan. This group is open to everyone in the surrounding area, but we do have a prescreening that each member must go through for security purposes of our children. This group is support for families homeschooling. Although the online group is geared to the adults, we will have the teens & kids participate in activities outside the forum. We have some terrific homeschooling links to find resources and even some files to download.

Christian Home Educators of the Blue Water Area (CHEBWA)
A Christian support group for families who homeschool. We are made up of moms and dads committed to the educational, spiritual, emotional and physical growth of our children. Although we are a private support group, we consider CHEBWA open to all and welcome your participation. Our purpose is to support and encourage families in their efforts to homeschool their children. We do this primarily through monthly support group meetings and a monthly newsletter.
