Birds in Culture: Our Brothers and Sisters Return. We are thrilled to celebrate spring and the 50th anniversary of Alaska's Statehood with two keynote speakers: Yupik storyteller Jack Dalton and Paul Baicich, author, former employee of the American Birding Association and chair of the Council on Environmental Education's Bird Education Network.

Eielson AFB and Fort Wainwright
Eielson AFB/Ft. Wainwright Home Schoolers
A group to help connect homeschoolers from Eielson AFB and Fort Wainwright (plus the surrounding civilian areas are welcome to join). We gather together to network, meet other homeschoolers, share ideas, socialize etc. Hikes, park days, game nights, group science experiments, field trips, and tours are some of the activities that our members may set up to name a few. Monthly Support group meetings are the 4th Friday of each month at the EAFB Chapel. Although we meet at the Chapel, we are not affiliated with any particular religious organization and people of all faiths are welcome. At meetings we make announcements of local events, field trips we may organize and time to share our experiences/concerns as homeschoolers.
