Exploring Humanitarian Law - Exploring Humanitarian Law (EHL) is a teacher curriculum produced by the International Committee of the Red Cross in association with the Education Development Center and in collaboration with the American Red Cross. The EHL curriculum meets the National Social Studies Standards for high school and it is integrated as part of basic education in secondary school curricula across the world. The primary intention of EHL is to help young people embrace the principles of humanity in their daily lives and in the way they assess events at home and abroad. (Y, M, O, T)

Masters of Disaster - The American Red Cross Masters of Disaster® curriculum is centered on a series of ready-to-go lesson plans that help organizations educate youth about important disaster safety and preparedness information. Masters of Disaster contains lessons, activities, and demonstrations on disaster-related topics that organizations can incorporate into daily or thematic programming. The curriculum is non-sequential, allowing organizers to choose the lesson plans that best fit into their programming. The Masters of Disaster curriculum materials meet national educational standards and are specifically tailored for lower elementary (K–2), upper elementary (3–5) and middle school (6–8) classes. First Lady Lesson Plan: Red Crescent / Red Cross - Calvin Coolidge’s controlling nature limited the activities of First Lady Grace Coolidge. He allowed her no say in the household management of the White House, nor was she permitted to determine what guests would visit. Calvin Coolidge simply wanted his wife to look pretty at all times.
